Our Content Team is recruiting Content Executives for various European markets to create high quality, inspirational and informative articles, as well as other written content across the Skyscanner site, apps and email products. If you’re a creative thinker, with a keen interest in travel and online media, we want to hear from you!

Обязанности:

The Content Team is responsible for the creation, curation and promotion of high quality, inspirational and informative articles, as well as other written content across the Skyscanner site, apps and via our email products.

You’ll be responsible for the creation, distribution and promotion of high quality, inspirational and informative written content (eg feature articles, deals + offers, travel tips and advice) for the specific market Skyscanner website, features section, email campaigns, and other areas of the business.

You’ll have strong writing skills, be a creative thinker and also be able to analyse reporting data to improve performance and steer the editorial schedule. A natural team player, you will work closely with the Social Media and PR Teams and collaborate effectively with the Search Team to ensure best practice SEO.

Operating in 45 countries worldwide, Skyscanner is looking for native speakers to help grow its brand in the following roles:

Content Executive, Italy
Content Executive, France
Content Executive, Germany
Content Executive, Russia
Content Executive, Spain

We have one role open in each market.

Core Responsibilities:

Conceive, research and write content (features/advice/inspiration) for the corresponding Skyscanner site;
Translate relevant content from English;
Source content via freelance commissions and interviews — proofread and edit that content;
Source images, upload and format content on our CMS;
Plan editorial schedule;
Build newsletter and other email products;
Keep abreast of relevant news in the travel sector for your corresponding market;
Write, translate and edit copy for other areas of business (HR, Design, Commercial, Social Marketing etc);
Nurture and grow email subscriber base;
Ensure Skyscanner tone of voice is maintained in all communications.

Требования:

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant demonstrable experience.

Personal Attributes:

Inquisitive with keen interest in travel and online media;
Well organised, able to multi-task and manage deadlines;
Able to move quickly in the fast-growing, fast-paced environment of Skyscanner.

Skills and Experience Required:

Native speaker of the corresponding market (Russian, Spanish, German, Italian or French);
Exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills;
Examples of written work — ideally in travel sector;
Ability to create compelling copy for a variety of different purposes;
Creative thinker — able to generate article ideas and headlines that will make people click;
Analytical experience — at home running reports and using data to influence content plans.

Desired Skills:

Online publishing experience (use of a CMS and ideally an Email Service Provider);
Knowledge of the rules of SEO;
Knowledge of basic HTML;
Fluency in one other language would be an asset.
